It’s more about how to be respectful, kind, polite, elegant and well-mannered – and yes, this will help you to become successful and popular in all that you do socially and professionally.

Etiquette (pronounced: etiket) is a set of rules and customs that people use for polite behaviour. Etiquette can differ among groups and cultures, but the basics are always the same. Respect and politeness and good manners are understood everywhere. Here are some examples of good etiquette:
Treating yourself and others with respect
Saying “Please” when you want something to be done for you.
Saying “Thank You” when something has been done for you
Avoiding being boastful, arrogant or loud
Listening and thinking before speaking
Speaking with kindness and respect
Being punctual
Others notice when we show good etiquette. It makes us feel good, and goes a long way towards helping us help us become more popular and successful.
